Some final thoughts before election day…
Isn’t it funny that when our democratic governor in Washington said that our economy was strong it was cause for republican ridicule, but when John McCain said it on a national level, we simply misunderstood what he said.
Isn’t it funny that when we have a candidate who wants to give our money to rich people, the republicans call it “capitalism”, but when we have a candidate who wants to get some of that money BACK for us, the republicans call it “socialism”.
Isn’t it funny that when the republicans give WalMart an advantage over other businesses, they call it “economic stimulus” and it’s good… but when we give a member of a minority race an advantage to help them get caught up, they call it “affirmative action” and it’s bad.
Isn’t it funny that when billions of dollars are given to corporations for absolutely nothing, they call it “the free market” and it’s good, but when we give $1000 per month to a single mother to feed and clothe her kids, they call it “welfare” and it’s bad.
Okay, guys… we have the chance to get America back to where we were before the terror and the constant, exhausting fear, and back to the hope, energy and success that used to define America. And if you vote for McCain or don’t vote, then don’t come whining to me in four years when we find ourselves in the same mess that we’re in today or worse.
Vote Obama.
Peace.
Randal
